About this event
The frogs are out! Come enjoy Acton's beautiful conservation land and learn about local wildlife with other ABFN families. Acton's Community Conservation Specialist Ian Bergemann will lead us on a nature walk to vernal pools, where he will teach us about our native amphibians and the life cycles of springtime!
We will be exploring Acton's newest conservation area, Moritz Forest, which just opened this past summer. It's about a .2 mile walk to the vernal pools where we'll learn about frogs and other creatures!
Parking:
1) For those who need close access to the trail head, there are about 4 spots at the trailhead (35 Whetherbee St)
2) For all others, please park just south of the trailhead on Whetherbee St, on the shoulder next to the cornfield. You'll see a sign that says "Wetherbee Conservation Land", next to this is a small trail that leads to the Moritz Forest trailhead
